Abstract: Pre-flight groundbased testing done to prepare for the first Rodent Research mission validation flight, RR1 (Choi et al, 2016 PlosOne). We purified RNA and measured RIN values to assess quality of the samples. For protein, we measured liver enzyme activities. We tested protocol and methods of preservation to date.
