Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum

Holding of the 10th Session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-10)

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will hold the 10th Session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-10) under the joint auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Thailand (MOST), the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency of Thailand (GISTDA), and the Chiang Mai University as below.

APRSAF is an annual forum, which was proposed by Japan at the Asia-Pacific ISY (International Space Year) Conference in 1992. It has been held since 1993.
Under the theme of gToward Promoting Cooperation on Space Application in Our Regionh, APRSAF participants at this session will be expected to report their space activities and discuss future plans with a view to promoting space utilization among space development agencies and space user agencies in the Asia-Pacific region.
