{"id":1681,"date":"2005-06-15T08:29:26","date_gmt":"2005-06-15T13:29:26","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2005-06-15T08:29:26","modified_gmt":"2005-06-15T13:29:26","slug":"next-ariane-5-mission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=1681","title":{"rendered":"Next Ariane 5 mission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Arianespace has set June 24 for its next Ariane 5 mission, which will use the increased-lift Ariane 5 ECA version to launch a dual satellite payload.<\/p>\n<p>The mission&#8217;s two satellites \u00ad Spaceway 2 for DIRECTV and the Telkom 2 satellite for PT Telkom Indonesia &#8211; currently are undergoing final checkout at the Spaceport&#8217;s S5 payload preparation facility in French Guiana.<\/p>\n<p>These two passengers will provide a heavyweight payload for the Ariane 5 ECA&#8217;s increased lift capability.
