Earlier this month, ESA’s Science Programme Committee (SPC) unanimously approved a nine-month extension of ESA’s involvement in the China\/ESA Double Star mission. Double Star is currently studying the Earth’s magnetosphere – the natural protective shield surrounding our planet – and its interaction with the solar wind.<\/p>\n
