{"id":2146,"date":"2006-12-09T11:21:29","date_gmt":"2006-12-09T16:21:29","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2006-12-09T11:21:29","modified_gmt":"2006-12-09T16:21:29","slug":"fifth-successful-ariane-5-flight-of-2006","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=2146","title":{"rendered":"Fifth successful Ariane 5 flight of 2006"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another busy year of Ariane 5 operations wrapped up today (December 8) with the launcher\u2019s fifth success of 2006 &#8212; orbiting the American-built WildBlue-1 and AMC-18 satellites for two U.S. telecommunications operators.<\/p>\n<p>With the on-time evening takeoff and a flawless performance, Ariane 5 lofted its 9th and 10th primary payloads of the year \u00ad a total that is more than all competing commercial launchers combined.
