These important documents were signed in the presence of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nWith the first contractual documents now signed, the \u2018A\u2019 satellites will be developed and built by Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse, France, while the \u2018B\u2019 satellites will be developed and built at the company\u2019s facilities in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
