The crew are now on their second mission day of the NEEMO 19 campaign.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nNEEMO \u2013 NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations \u2013 trains astronauts for life in space. Living and working in an underwater base is similar to being on a space station.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nNEEMO\u2019s underwater habitat off Florida acts as makeshift a space base for astronauts to make regular \u2018waterwalks\u2019 in full scuba gear.
