The Air Force Safety Center announced a change to the Critical Days of Summer program. The change eliminates the requirement for installations to use a safety campaign within defined time period and, instead, allows leadership to choose the time period and focus in order to implement mishap prevention measures that best suit their mission needs.<\/p>\n
The change is motivated by trending data that shows summer is not necessarily more dangerous than other times of the year at most bases.
