By the autumn term of 2013 she had achieved enough to move into top sets in all her subjects. Her aim is to be the first female Afghan astronaut, Tim told her it was a <em>&#8220;wonderful idea and ambition&#8221;<\/em> and that she should <em>&#8220;follow her dreams&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div data-shortcode=\"caption\" id=\"attachment_27441\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ukamsat.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/12\/ghy99-hamtv-dish-at-goonhilly-frank-heritage-m0aeu.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-27441\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-27441\" src=\"https:\/\/ukamsat.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/12\/ghy99-hamtv-dish-at-goonhilly-frank-heritage-m0aeu.jpg?w=200&#038;h=300\" alt=\"HamTV dish antenna at Goonhilly - Credit Frank Heritage M0AEU\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">HamTV dish antenna at Goonhilly &#8211; Credit Frank Heritage M0AEU<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>As well as the two-way voice amateur radio contact the students were able to see Tim Peake via a Digital Amateur Television (DATV) HamTV transmission from the International Space Station on 2395 MHz.<\/p>\n<p>This transmission was received at an amateur radio station installed by British Amateur Television Club (BATC) and AMSAT-UK members at Goonhilly and streamed to the school via the web.
