{"id":240396,"date":"2016-04-09T08:06:44","date_gmt":"2016-04-09T12:06:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amsat-uk.org\/?p=28658"},"modified":"2016-04-09T08:06:44","modified_gmt":"2016-04-09T12:06:44","slug":"iss-slow-scan-tv-april-11-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=240396","title":{"rendered":"ISS Slow Scan TV April 11-15"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-shortcode=\"caption\" id=\"attachment_24692\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-24692\" src=\"https:\/\/ukamsat.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/01\/iss-sstv-image-1-murray-hely-zl3mh-20150131.jpg?w=300&#038;h=233\" alt=\"ISS SSTV image 1 Murray Hely ZL3MH 20150131\" width=\"300\" height=\"233\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">ISS SSTV image 1 received by Murray Hely ZL3MH January 31, 2015<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>ARISS reports that International Space Station (ISS) <a href=\"https:\/\/amsat-uk.org\/beginners\/iss-sstv\/\" >Slow Scan TV<\/a> (SSTV) transmissions on 145.800 MHz FM may take place between April 11-15, 2016<\/p>\n<p>The schedule for the ARISS commemorative event is currently:<br \/>\n\u2022 Setup and activation on April 11 about 18:25 UT.<br \/>\n\u2022 Paused April 12 from 12:15 until 14:15 UT to allow for a school contact with Romania.<br \/>\n\u2022 Paused April 13 from 12:45 until 14:30 UT to allow for a school contact with Argentina.<br \/>\n\u2022 Deactivation on April 14 at 11:35 UT.<br \/>\nThis opportunity should cover most of the world during the operational period.The image transmissions should be on 145.800 MHz and the mode is planned to be PD180.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.energia.ru\/eng\/iss\/researches\/education-26.html\" >MAI-75<\/a> (SSTV Experiment) will be conducting two sessions afterwards. The first one is April 14 from 14:45 until 18:00 UT. The second session is on April 15 from 14:10 until 19:00 UT. These times do not cross N. America but will provide opportunities for Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and S.
