Masahiro Arai JN1GKZ<\/strong> reports that six CubeSats delivered to the International Space Station by the HTV-6 will deploy from the ISS using the new JEM Small Satellite Orbital Deployer (J-SSOD) on Monday, January 16.<\/p>\n

\"JAXA<\/a>The new J-SSOD has four satellite install cases. One satellite install case has 3U space, so the new J-SSOD could deploy twelve 1U CubeSats at a time.<\/p>\n

The six CubeSats are installed as follows:<\/p>\n

\n#1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 three 1U CubeSats ITF-2<\/a>\u3001WASEDA-SAT3\u3001FREEDOM
\n#2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 one 3U CubeSat\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 EGG
\n#3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 one 2U CubeSat\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 AOBA-VELOX3
\n#4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 one 3U CubeSat\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 TuPOD (including Tancredo1<\/a> and OSNSAT)<\/p>\n

ITF-2\u3001WASEDA-SAT3\u3001AOBA-VELOX3, TuPOD and Tancredo1 have amateur radio downlinks.<\/p>\n

#1 and #2 will be deployed at 0900-0930z January 16, #3 and #4 will be 1030-1100z.<\/p>\n
