Researchers from Charit\u00e9 &#8211; Universit\u00e4tsmedizin Berlin have been able to demonstrate the manner in which two specific proteins recognize defective messenger RNAs (molecules that carry the &#8216;assembly instructions&#8217; for protein synthesis) and trigger their destruction.
