{"id":31,"date":"2002-12-04T18:12:46","date_gmt":"2002-12-04T23:12:46","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2002-12-04T18:12:46","modified_gmt":"2002-12-04T23:12:46","slug":"expedition-six-lights-up-the-holiday-season-in-new-york","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=31","title":{"rendered":"EXPEDITION SIX LIGHTS UP THE HOLIDAY SEASON IN NEW YORK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>      In one of its first official duties since taking up<br \/>\nresidence on the International Space Station, the crew of<br \/>\nExpedition Six helps light up the holiday season by taking<br \/>\npart in a New York tradition that dates back to the 1930s.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nCommander Ken Bowersox, Science Officer Don Petit and Russian<br \/>\ncosmonaut Nikolai Budarin will help light the Christmas tree<br \/>\nat Rockefeller Center in New York, an annual event that<br \/>\nfeatures one of the biggest, brightest and most famous<br \/>\nholiday celebrations in the world.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony can be seen on television tonight at 8 p.m. EST<br \/>\non NBC&#8217;s Christmas in Rockefeller Center.
