This junk \u2013 accumulated in orbit since the dawn of the space age sixty years ago \u2013 poses an increasing risk to operational spacecraft.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\">\nESA is developing missions to tackle the problem to help prevent a serious collision in space.
