class=\"wp-caption-text\">Es&#8217;hail-2 \/ QO-100 coverage from 25.9\u00b0 East<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Qatar OSCAR-100 is the first geostationary amateur radio transponder, a joint project between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eshailsat.qa\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Qatar Satellite Company (Es&#8217;hailSat)<\/strong><\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qsl.net\/a71a\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Qatar Amateur Radio Society (QARS)<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/amsat-dl.org\/en\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>AMSAT Deutschland (AMSAT-DL)<\/strong><\/a> which provided the technical lead.<\/p>\n<p>OSCAR-100 is hosted on Es&#8217;hail-2, a Broadcast Transponder Satellite owned by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eshailsat.qa\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Es&#8217;hailSat Qatar Satellite Company<\/strong><\/a>, the satellite is now in geostationary orbit at 25.9\u00b0 E.<\/p>\n<p>More information on the OSCAR-100 project can be Club will be operating a <a href=\"https:\/\/eshail.batc.org.uk\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WebSDR<\/a> for the narrowband segment, and a Spectrum Viewer for the wideband (DATV) segment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goonhilly.org\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Goonhilly Earth Station<\/a> is supporting the project, providing hosting for the Ground Station facility at
