The practice session gave the astronauts and the control teams a chance to practice all the launch day steps before they have to do it for real in a few weeks. Liftoff is targeted for Nov. 1 at 4:40 p.m. EDT.  After flying back to NASA&#8217;s Johnson Space Center in Houston, the astronauts will continue training for Discovery&#8217;s mission to the International Space Station.
