\nU.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski, astronauts Scott Kelly and Barbara Morgan will join Administrator O’Keefe.<\/p>\n
NASA Television will broadcast the event live from the facility’s SpaceLink space science and astronomy update center, which is located at 601 Light Street.<\/p>\n
Reporters interested in attending the event should call Whitney Hannon at the Maryland Science Center by telephone at 410\/545-5960.<\/p>\n
The Maryland Science Center’s mission is to stimulate and cultivate awareness, interest, and understanding of science through educational programs and exhibits, to be a regional resource, and a national model for science education.<\/p>\n
NASA Television is available on GE-2, Transponder 9C, at 85 degrees West longitude, vertical polarization, with a frequency of 3880 MHz and audio of 6.8 MHz.<\/p>\n
