An international research team including a scientist from City University of Hong Kong (CityU) has recently developed a novel device that successfully measures the length of the Kondo cloud and even allows for controlling it. The findings can be regarded as a milestone in condensed matter physics, and may provide insights for understanding multiple impurity systems such as high-temperature superconductors.
\n
\n
\n Click here for original story, World’s first experimental observation of a Kondo cloud<\/a>
\n
\n
\nSource: Phys.org<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Physicists have been trying to observe the Kondo cloud quantum phenomenon for many decades.
