COVID-19, climate, equity, racism and poverty are real and daunting public policy problems. There are crazy people in the world that want to kidnap governors, kill a man with a relentless knee to his neck, party without masks, and don&#8217;t think that COVID-19 and climate change are real. But most people see the world as it is, and I find people generous and typically willing to help those in need.
