Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) completed a successful test launch of its Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Dragon space vehicle from Space Launch Complex 40 here today at 10:43 a.m. EST with safety and range support by the 45th Space Wing.<\/p>\n

Ed Wilson, 45th Space Wing commander, who served as the Launch Decision Authority. “This is a true milestone mission, the first time a commercial company has launched and attempted reentry of a capsule.
