{"id":676042,"date":"2020-12-15T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-15T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=676042"},"modified":"2020-12-15T11:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-12-15T15:00:00","slug":"forward-to-the-moon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=676042","title":{"rendered":"Forward to the Moon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Forward_to_the_Moon_card_full.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The European Space Agency and NASA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to take Europe to the Moon.<\/p>\n<p>This historic agreement will see ESA Member States contribute a number of essential elements to the first human outpost in lunar orbit, known as the Gateway.<\/p>\n<p>It confirms ESA\u2019s commitment to delivering at least two European Service Modules that provide electricity, water, oxygen and nitrogen to NASA\u2019s Orion spacecraft \u2013 with more to come.
