{"id":678394,"date":"2021-01-15T04:56:00","date_gmt":"2021-01-15T08:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=678394"},"modified":"2021-01-15T04:56:00","modified_gmt":"2021-01-15T08:56:00","slug":"sculpted-in-sculptor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=678394","title":{"rendered":"Sculpted in sculptor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>First discovered in 1798 by German-English astronomer\u00a0William Hershel, NGC 613 is a galaxy which lies in the southern constellation of\u00a0Sculptor\u00a0 67 million light-years away.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Featured here in a new image from the NASA\/ESA\u00a0Hubble Space Telescope, NGC 613 is a lovely example of a\u00a0barred spiral galaxy. It is easily distinguishable as such because of its well defined central bar and long arms, which spiral loosely around its nucleus.
