The event grew out of the so-called <strong><span>Ham Radio Taco Thursdays<\/span><\/strong>, begun many years ago by ARRL Life Member Alan Pitegoff, AB4OZ. <\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p>Pitegoff had to put his event on hold when the pandemic erupted.
