These are the result of multiple solar flares on May 22. According to <strong>Spaceweather.com<\/strong>, NASA\u2019s Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded 10 C-class and two M-class flares, sending multiple overlapping coronal mass ejections (CMEs) into space.
