{"id":710212,"date":"2021-12-06T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-06T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=710212"},"modified":"2021-12-06T11:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-12-06T15:00:00","slug":"webb-moved-for-fuelling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=710212","title":{"rendered":"Webb moved for fuelling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Webb_moved_for_fuelling_card_full.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/Science_Exploration\/Space_Science\/Webb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">James Webb Space Telescope<\/a>, configured for flight, was moved from the cleanroom to the payload preparation facility for fuelling at Europe\u2019s Spaceport in French Guiana on 11\u201312 November 2021.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/ESA_Multimedia\/Images\/2021\/12\/Webb_fuelled_for_launch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Webb will be loaded with propellants<\/a> before being mounted on top of the rocket and then encapsulated by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/Enabling_Support\/Space_Transportation\/Ariane\" title=\"About Ariane\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Ariane 5<\/a> fairing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/Science_Exploration\/Space_Science\/Webb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Webb<\/a>\u00a0will be the largest, most powerful telescope ever launched into space. As part of an international collaboration agreement, ESA is providing the telescope\u2019s launch service using the Ariane 5 launch vehicle.
