Huntsville Symphony String Quartet Performs at Marshall<\/h1>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

NASA Marshall Space Flight Center team members were treated to a special 30-minute performance by musicians from the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra inside Activities Building 4316 on Sept. 21.<\/p>\n

The string quartet included two violinists, a violist, and a cellist performing several recognizable classical compositions, including Gershwin\u2019s \u201cSummertime\u201d and Mouret\u2019s \u201cRondeau.\u201d<\/p>\n

The performance was part of \u201cSymphony in the City,\u201d an educational and outreach campaign providing free live performances throughout North Alabama. The string quartet performed earlier that afternoon inside the Java Caf\u00e9 for Redstone Arsenal personnel.<\/p>\n

The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra originally began performing in 1955 and today serves as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering concerts, educational programs and more with leading musicians from around the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Barnett, a Media Fusion employee, supports the Marshall Office of Communications.<\/em><\/p>\n
