Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. conducted a full-scale installation preparedness exercise on\u00a0Nov. 19, 2019, to demonstrate the 460th Space Wing’s capabilities to react and respond.\u00a0<\/p>\n Both active shooter and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) simulations were conducted to mimic real-world problems and test the readiness of first responders on the\u00a0military installation. \u00a0<\/p>\n Buckley AFB tested capabilities with off-base agencies to provide support in first response, patient transport, as well as providing opportunities for further training objectives for local agencies.<\/p>\n Participating organizations conducted risk management evaluations during the exercise to help identify the capabilities Buckley AFB\u2019s first responders have.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
