His\u00a0mission is supported by ESA and the\u00a0Swedish National Space Agency\u00a0(SNSA).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Marcus Wandt was selected in November 2022 as a member of the ESA astronaut reserve after a year-long selection process.
