Once it arrives, it will be put into storage for a few weeks until it is time to ready the satellite for liftoff \u2013 which is scheduled to launch in May on a Falcon 9 rocket.<\/p>\n<p>The Earth Cloud Aerosol and Radiation Explorer, or\u00a0EarthCARE\u00a0for short, is the most complex\u00a0Earth Explorer\u00a0mission to date.
