They gathered to celebrate a key milestone for the Artemis <abbr title=\"Two\">II<\/abbr> mission: the unveiling and roll-out of the fully assembled <abbr title=\"Space Launch System\">SLS<\/abbr> core stage. Standing nearly 65\u00a0metres tall, the core stage will help launch the Orion spacecraft and the Artemis\u00a0<abbr title=\"Two\">II<\/abbr> crew around the Moon.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nThe <abbr title=\"Space Launch System\">SLS<\/abbr> core stage was loaded onto NASA<\/span>‘s Pegasus barge and transported to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida where it arrived on <time datetime=\"2024-07-23\">July\u00a023<\/time> and was unloaded the <time datetime=\"2024-07-24\">next day<\/time>. Standing nearly 65\u00a0metres tall, the core stage will help launch the Orion spacecraft and the Artemis\u00a0<abbr title=\"Two\">II<\/abbr> crew around the Moon.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nThe <abbr title=\"Space Launch System\">SLS<\/abbr> core stage was loaded onto NASA<\/span>‘s Pegasus barge and transported to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida where it arrived on <time datetime=\"2024-07-23\">July\u00a023<\/time> and was unloaded the <time datetime=\"2024-07-24\">next day<\/time>.
