Image credit: ESA \/ ATG Medialab.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/planetary.s3.amazonaws.com\/sites\/planetary\/images\/image_library_earth.png\" alt=\"Earth\" class=\"inline h-5 w-5 float-left mr-1 mt-1\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong>NASA is likely to delay the next crew launch to the ISS.\u00a0<\/strong>The Crew 9 mission to the International Space Station planned to launch on Aug. 18 will\u00a0likely be delayed by over a month due to ongoing concerns about the Boeing Starliner spacecraft currently attached to the station, which may not be able to safely return the current ISS crew back to Earth.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/planetary.s3.amazonaws.com\/assets\/images\/image_library_exoplanet.png\" alt=\"exoplanet\" class=\"inline h-5 w-5 float-left mr-1 mt-1\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The more we learn about stars, the better we understand exoplanets.\u00a0<\/strong>A new study using data from NASA&#8217;s Galaxy Evolution Explorer space telescope looked at ultraviolet emissions from small mass stars, finding that\u00a0far-ultraviolet emissions are higher than previously expected. This calls into question the typical assumption that exoplanets around these kinds of stars might be prime targets in the search for life.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/planetary.s3.amazonaws.com\/sites\/planetary\/images\/image_library_moon.png\" alt=\"Moon\" class=\"inline align-middle h-5 w-5 float-left mr-1 mt-1\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Graphene has been found in Chang\u2019e-5 lunar samples.\u00a0<\/strong>Graphene is a form of carbon consisting of a single layer of atoms arranged in a honeycomb nanostructure. On Earth, graphene is very useful in optics, electrics, and mechanics. The researchers who\u00a0found graphene in Chang\u2019e-5\u2019s lunar sample proposed that it may have formed from volcanic activity, solar winds, or meteorite impacts.
