{"id":798277,"date":"2025-09-18T11:31:27","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T16:31:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=798277"},"modified":"2025-09-18T11:31:27","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T16:31:27","slug":"rsgb-lora-repeater-balloon-launch-september-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spaceweekly.com\/?p=798277","title":{"rendered":"RSGB LoRa Repeater Balloon Launch September 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-36342\">\n\t<!-- .entry-header --><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>The launch of the RSGB High-altitude balloon carrying the LoRa Repeater GB1HAB will take place around 11am BST (10:00 GMT) on Saturday, September 20.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the RSGB\u2019s National Coding Week activities this year, the RSGB Outreach Team has been working closely with <strong>Hi-Impact<\/strong> to launch a hot air balloon equipped with a LoRa digipeater.<\/p>\n<p>The LoRa Repeater uses Spreading Factor (SF) 12, and Coding Rate (CR) 5 with a bandwidth of 125 kHz.
