The crew of four will launch\u00a0no earlier\u00a0than\u00a0Wednesday 11\u00a0February\u00a0from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral\u00a0Space\u00a0Force\u00a0Station, Florida, USA.\u202fThey\u00a0will travel to the International Space Station\u00a0aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, propelled into orbit by a Falcon 9 rocket.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n
Crew-12 will be the first spaceflight for\u00a0mission specialist\u00a0Sophie Adenot and\u00a0pilot\u00a0Jack Hathaway, who both have a test pilot background, and the second spaceflight for\u00a0commander\u00a0Jessica Meir\u00a0and mission specialist Andrei\u00a0Fedyaev. Jessica will travel for the first time on Dragon, while Andrei\u00a0will become the first cosmonaut to fly twice on the SpaceX spacecraft.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Crew-12 will join Expeditions 74 and 75\u00a0aboard the Station\u00a0during their stay, which is expected to last around nine months. They will conduct\u202fa wide range of tasks, including European-led scientific experiments and medical research, and\u00a0will also support Earth observation and contribute to operations and maintenance on the Station.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
