Space shuttle Endeavour’s six astronauts arrived at NASA Kennedy Space Center’s Shuttle Landing Facility in four T-38 jets between 5:07 p.m. and 5:24 p.m. EDT. The crew is at Kennedy for their week-long launch dress rehearsal, called the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test, or TCDT.<\/p>\n
TCDT will provide Endeavour’s astronauts and ground crews with an opportunity to participate in various simulated countdown activities, including equipment familiarization and emergency training. <\/p>\n
Later today STS-134 Commander Mark Kelly and Pilot Greg H. Johnson will practice shuttle landings in shuttle training aircraft.<\/p>\n
The next media event will be a Q and A at Launch Pad 39A on March 31 at 8:40 am. EDT. The event will be aired on NASA TV (www.nasa.gov.ntv).<\/p>\n
