For the first time, the 460th Comptroller Squadron Financial Services Flight is the Air Force Financial Services Office of the Year for fiscal year 2009.
460th CPTS’ implementation of a new self-help resource center, the SOURCE, has helped improve individuals’ ability to take control of their own finances, which was one of the many improvements made to help bring this award to Buckley.
“I am extremely proud of the entire organization and their commitment to bring world class financial services to Team Buckley,” said Maj. William Hunter, 460th CPTS commander. “We have a young crew, but what they lack in years of experience they make up for with positive attitudes and giving 100 percent effort everyday this allows Team Buckley to focus on the mission and not worry about pay problems.”
