In addition to the “Combat Challenge” members of the 3rd Combat Communications Group will be hosting and competing in next month, six 3rd Herd Airmen will also be participating in the “Security Forces (Combat) Challenge” May 17-19 at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.
Both the Combat Challenge and Security Forces Challenge are part of Air Force Space Command’s “Guardian Challenge,” the premier biannual space and cyberspace competition in the world.
According the 3rd Herd officials, the Security Forces Challenge will consist of a tactical course, as well as M-4 and M-9 marksmanship courses.
