Proba-2 is the second in the series of small Proba (Project for On Board Autonomy) satellites. It is being used to test new and innovative technologies and equipped with science instruments focused on solar and space weather observations.
This ESA satellite will be launched from Plesetsk, a Russian launch base, November 2nd together with ESA’s Earth Explorer mission SMOS.
