The first events of the 4th annual Warrior Games began Sunday with cycling, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball. More than 200 wounded, ill or injured members from all U.S. military branches and the British Armed Forces are competing this week at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Taking the gold medal in Men’s Recumbent Cycling was Maj. Scott Bullis from Air Force Space Command who was happy to win the event after General Shelton, Commander of AFSPC, took some light-hearted ribbing from the Marine Corps Commandant.
