The satellite Alphasat and its launcher adaptor – collectively called the ‘stack’ when mated – are moved onto the CCU3 pallet in Kourou, French Guiana. The pallet, a platform based on air-bearings, will allow the stack to be transported in an air-conditioned container to the launcher hall for integration.
