Three Space Station Crews Answer Media Questions from Orbit

The International Space Station is host to nine astronauts for four days since the arrival of Expedition 38 in their Soyuz spacecraft TMA-11M on 7 November 2013. The complete crew discuss their missions with reporters at four locations around the world during a news conference. ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano, NASA astronauts Karen Nyberg, Michael Hopkins and Rick Mastracchio, Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin and fellow cosmonauts Oleg Kotov, Sergey Ryazanskiy and Mikhail Tyurin as well as Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata talk with reporters from space. Topics include the 15th anniversary of the Space Station, science in space, the spacewalk of November 9, 2013 and the Olympic torch onboard that opens the 2014 Winter Olympic Games and return to Earth with Luca, Karen and Fyodor. The conference lasts 40 minutes, and media from the US, Russia, Europe and Japanese ask questions.
