A full replay of the lead-up to launch of Expedition 40/41 crew ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst, NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman and Roscosmos commander Maxim Suraev to the International Space Station. They left Earth from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in a Soyuz spacecraft at 21:57 CEST on 28 May 2014.
This started their six month mission in space. Alexander has 100 experiments planned for his Blue Dot mission.
