Nobel Laureate Meeting connects with Alexander Gerst

This message from ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst was played during the opening ceremony of the 64th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. Taking place from 29 June to 4 July 2014 in Lindau, Germany, this year’s Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting focuses on human physiology and medicine. In attendance were 37 Nobel Laureates and 600 young scientists, the members of the Board of Directors and other selected guests.
Alexander Gerst is currently a member of the resident International Space Station Expedition 40 crew. He is spending five and a half months living and working on the ISS for his Blue Dot mission.
