The heavy-lift Ariane 5 is set to star in an upcoming episode of the National Geographic Channel’s , which will showcase the launch vehicle’s vital role in supporting global communications systems. A five-member crew from the program has been filming preparations for the year-opening Arianespace mission at Europe’s Spaceport, and will continue through the February 12 evening liftoff and deployment of Ariane 5’s multi-passenger payload.
