Ariane 5 soared to another success today, orbiting spacecraft for Asia and India on Arianespaces third heavy-lift mission of 2011.
Lifting off from Europes Spaceport in French Guiana, the Ariane 5 ECA deployed its dual-satellite payload of ST-2 and GSAT-8 during a 31-minute mission which also marked the 44th consecutive on-target flight for this workhorse launch vehicle.
