Discovery Focusing on KSC for Second Landing Opportunity

Entry Flight Director Bryan Lunney and his team have decided to focus on Kennedy Space Center for Discovery’s second landing opportunity on orbit 238. The weather forecast is improving. Lunney is expected to make a "go/no go" decision for landing at about 7:43 a.m. EDT, setting up a deorbit burn at 8:02 a.m. and a landing at 9:08 a.m.
