Build-up has begun for the fifth Ariane 5 to be launched this year starting with the core cryogenic stage’s erection and the mating of its initial solid propellant booster. This activity which is taking place in the Spaceport’s Launcher Assembly Building is in parallel with preparations for Arianespace’s August mission with the no. 4 heavy-lift vehicle, which is currently in the Final Assembly Building.
