Heartlink enhances mission readiness, benefits spouses

More than 30 Schriever spouses participated in the Heartlink program here, Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, including briefings from 50th Space Wing agencies and touring the installation’s power plant as well as the 2nd Space Operations Squadron.

Heartlink is an interactive program hosted by the Airman and Family Readiness Center and is designed to strengthen Air Force families through increased knowledge of military programs, 50 SW agencies and Schriever’s mission.

“The Heartlink is critical because it offers an introduction to the mission of the installation, as well as allows attendees to gain insight and knowledge about various services the Air Force offers,” said Kendra Humphrey, Airman and Family Readiness Center work/life specialist.
