More than 1,500 people attended the annual Children’s Spring Fling event at the fitness center on Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, April 2.
Schriever’s children and their families enjoyed a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, games, prizes, magic show and visited with Hairy the Bunny and fairy tale characters during the free event.
“Spring Fling is a great way to get families out–there are a lot of free prizes and food and it’s a gorgeous day,” said Col. DeAnna Burt, 50th Space Wing commander. “It allows for families–especially the larger families–to have a lot of fun on a budget.”
