ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet from France has recently been in training at Star City, near Moscow, with the Russian space agency Roscosmos. He’s now qualified in operations of the Soyuz launch and reentry vehicle which will carry him into orbit, together with crewmates Peggy Whitson and Oleg Novitsky, when they launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
