Abstract: The initial accretion of primitive asteroids (meteorite parent bodies) from freely-floating nebula particles remains problematic. Traditional growth-by-sticking models in turbulent nebulae encounter a formidable “meter-size barrier” due to both drift and destruction, or even a mmtocmsize “bouncing” barrier.
